Aubrey and I are getting old. Well, not as old as some people, but we're getting up there. Our first child, Kimberlie started the first grade this week. Kimmie has always been excited to go to school. When she was three or four she would see a school bus and say, "next year I'm gonna ride on that." It was fun last year when Kimberlie went to school, and Daddy taught school for the first time.
This year Kimmie is hot stuff! She gets to stay the whole day, and even eat lunch at school. I made her lunch, and yes, I left her a note on her sandwich. She loved the note and got upset when the teacher made her put it away. At the end of the day she came out with her friend and said to Aubrey, "That was so long." I have to laugh, it was an early out day.
