Weekend Update

Let's bring everyone up to speed with the Bowden house. Baby #4 has lost its tail. Look at it, no tail. On Friday Kimberlie and Aubrey went on a "date" while the boys and dad stayed home to watch the BYU game. The girls went to the Chuck-A-Rama for dinner. Kimberlie bit into her corn on the cob and suddenly got quiet and almost cried. She had a loose tooth. Which started the mealtimes from heck at our house. Apparently it is easier to chew bread than soup, but that is another story. Anyway, Sunday night Kimberlie brushed her teeth and the tooth fell out. Thank goodness, I was about to get out the blender and start pureeing her food.

Which brings me to my second point. What is up with the Tooth Fairy? My tooth fairy only gave me a nickel or a quarter depending on the tooth. Some kids are getting dollars, gold, new cars. I think there needs to be a uniform standard for the Tooth Fairy. I suggest that the smaller teeth in the front should only be a quarter, 75 cents for the incisors, and a dollar for any molars that come out, if they do, I can't remember.

Nothing else happened. Except Cameron Sunday night. He turned off the TV close to bed time. I think he pushed a button on the remote, anyway, after the TV went off, he folded his arms for prayers. Cute.

At our house, we have the tooth fairy who leaves a dollar when she remembers to come by, then we have papa fairy that says the tooth fairy is too cheap and gives the kids five bucks and then another 5 if the tooth fairy was delayed. After that, we have the nonno (toot) fairy which says the tooth fairy and the papa fairy are both two cheap and gives the kid a twenty. I'm ready to start pulling my teeth out for the extra cash!

When I was growing up the tooth fairy always left a dollar bill, except for the time it was too dark and the tooth fairy gave me a ten dollar bill by mistake. :)
